A little history

Samoyed Rescue, like the breed that we support, was the first to go where no one had gone before with rescue. When this website first went up, most folks still had never heard of the Internet. There was only a very small audience.

Despite the humble beginnings and the uphill battle for recognition, it has been a notable success story garnering accolades from varied sources.

In May 1995, CBS news aired a feature on us performing rescue via the Internet. Since then, this website has gone on to help with the placement of many, many dogs.

All of us involved in this web site are very proud to have been a part of this.

	Samoyed Rescue Alliance SRA is an affiliation of Samoyed Rescue organizations from across the United States, dedicated to helping homeless or unwanted Samoyeds find new, loving, permanent homes.
