This two part seminar will include a discussion of genetic disorders in Samoyeds. It will also show the genetic diversity of the breed and demonstrate how selection of the right mates manipulates the genes and modifies the outcome. The second part of this seminar will discuss genetic disorders affecting the Samoyed with updates on pertinent research. It will include breeding recommendations to manage different types of genetic disorders. |
Dr. Hutchison graduated in 1972 from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is currently the co-director of the Animal Clinic Northview, Inc. He is American Animal Hospital Association certified. He was on the SCA Health Foundation board in 1998. Dr. Hutchison is internationally recognized for his work on reproduction and has given seminars on canine reproduction and neonatology world wide. This seminar is a must for all breeders. |
