At the time her title was awarded and for the
next 9 years, Katmai was the youngest WSXM titlist
and still is the youngest bitch to have been awarded
the title, earning her WSXM at just 2.5 years
of age.

and is the daughter of Karibou, the first WSXM
titleist.

Bruin is the first 3rd generation WSXM titlist.
He is the son of Parka (#5) and the grandson of
Karibou (#1).

Qila's work in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)
has truly distinguished him. Qila's owner, Janice
Schuler, is a speech pathologist and Qila has
been her cotherapist for over five years. In that
time, Janice has been collecting data on the efficacy
of AAT in working with children ages three to
five and the results are overwhemingly positive.
There are not many people out there collecting
and analyzing data on AAT, so Qila's work has
gotten a bit of recognition in the field. The
latest news is that Janice will be giving a presentation
at a national conference (Council for Exceptional
Children - Division of Early Childhood) in San
Diego in December, 2002 on their most recent work.
Qila's work has made a significant impact on our
understanding of the Animal-Human Bond which in
turn makes him a unique working dog.

Kachina is a grandaughter of Karibou, the first
WSXM Samoyed, and a great granddaughter of Glacie,
the second WSXM Samoyed. At the time her title
was awarded she was also the second youngest dog
to have ever received the WSXM title.

Lightning is the youngest Samoyed to earn a WSXM,
receiving his title at just over two years of
age. He won the 2002 and 2003 SCA Top Sled Dog
Award. For two years in a row he and his kennel-brother
Nimbus composed the first all-Samoyed team in
history to win an ISDRA championship (2-Dog Gig).
He won Best In Show at the 2004 SCA National Specialty,
and won the Brace class twice at the National.

Tuktu is the first fourth generation WSXM title
holder. He is the son of Bruin (#8), the grandson
of Parka (#5) and the great grandson of Karibou
(#1).

Jake is the son of the 1st WSXM, Karibou, and
achieved his WSXM title by being a working stock
dog in addition to pack hiking and therapy work.

Traveller is was the first Samoyed in Canada to
